《續資治通鑒》二百二十卷，清畢沅撰。此書付刻未及半，畢沅生前僅初刻一○三卷，畢家因貪污遭籍沒而止，書稿散佚，桐鄉馮集梧買得全稿補刻成二百二十卷。《續資治通鑒》跟《資治通鑒》有不少出入，續通鑒大量引用舊史原文，敘事詳而不蕪；僅有取捨剪裁，而無類似溫公的改寫熔煉，亦無“畢沅曰”等各家史論。《續資治通鑒》作者雖掛名畢沅，然名家錢大昕、邵晉涵、章學誠、洪亮吉、黃仲則等均參預其事，此書實成於眾人之手。梁啟超對該書評價極高，認為“有畢《鑒》則各家續《鑒》皆可廢也”。
